  1. Thanks to whomever made this podcast of Deborah Meier’s remarks possible!

    Deborah’s comments on the nature of democracy and the role of our schools in fostering democracy in the education of our youth is so clearly articulated. She deals with the concepts of “trust,” of “language ” as well.

    This evening I plan to listen again to this podcast to pull out the nuances, to enjoy her anecdotes as well as to allow me time to continue to think over her words.

    Wherever teachers/ parents/ community leaders gather, time should be set aside to listen to and reflect upon this stimulating and instructive presentation!
